Convilyn User Manual

Convilyn & Ainalyn

Convilyn is the cloud platform. Ainalyn is the desktop app that runs it on your own machine. They share one account — this page explains how the two fit together and when each one uses credits.

Convilyn — the cloud platform

Convilyn (convilyn.corenovus.com) is the paid AI file-conversion and workflow platform. It converts between 280+ formats and runs multi-step Goal Lane workflows on cloud infrastructure, billed in credits. This is the service that holds your subscription, your credit balance, and your billing details (handled through Paddle).

Everything else in this manual — credits, subscription plans, Turbo Lane, Goal Lane — describes Convilyn.

Ainalyn — the desktop client (beta)

Ainalyn is a free desktop app for Windows, macOS, and Linux that brings Convilyn to your own computer. It is currently in beta.

What makes Ainalyn different from the web app:

  • Quick conversions run locally, on your hardware. Image, PDF, OCR, and media conversions execute on your own machine — your files never leave your computer, and they work offline. Because you are using your own compute, these conversions are free.
  • Heavy AI work taps the Convilyn cloud automatically. When a job needs more than your machine can do — a multi-step Goal Lane workflow — Ainalyn routes it to Convilyn's cloud and it runs exactly as it would in the browser.
  • One click, no setup. Pick a task, drop in a file, get a result. No prompts to write, no pipelines to configure.

In short: Convilyn is the engine and the account; Ainalyn is a client that lets you put your own computer's resources to work alongside it.

To connect Ainalyn to your Convilyn account you either sign in with Google or GitHub (the app opens your system browser), or paste an API key. Cloud jobs you run from the desktop draw on the same credit balance as the web app.

What "beta" means here

Ainalyn is in active development. The desktop download is public and the core convert-and-run experience works today, but features are still being added and refined, and some tasks may route to the cloud while local execution catches up. Your Convilyn account, credits, and billing are unaffected — they are the same whether you use the web app or the desktop app.

Get Ainalyn

Download the app for your platform at ainalyn.corenovus.com/#download. Around 4 GB of free RAM is recommended. Quick conversions work offline; sign in or add an API key to unlock cloud AI workflows.
